A new chassis concept achieves something never seen before: a reduction in the truck length. The fact that we were able to save decisive centimetres here is a positive secondary effect. Our main thoughts were to optimise the lift and load laboratories, not in your warehouse. We research, test and refine in order to set carriages and also the mast connection. What has been achieved is better stability with a more compact truck, making aisle changing easier and faster.
Matching this, something has also been done in the driver's working space. The universal cab for example had been made capable of going online, by making MMS components such as terminal, printer and scanner capable of being integrated.
Now, whether with standard, universal or luxury cab, we will match your MX-X, and all the things that go with it, to the application conditions which prevail in your warehouse. Whether the aisles are narrow or wide, the runs long or short, pallets light or heavy, racking low or high - the ideal order picking truck for all these criteria can now be built. Steering everything on the right path.
As has already been proven on other model ranges, the MX-X maintains its course with the STILL steering module. Its fully redundant system has a two channel set up which constantly compares target and actual values. In operation it is failsafe - guaranteed on the basis of two-processor architecture (main and control computer). The speed profile is designed in accordance with the environment and products at time of order, all with the intention of ensuring smooth and efficient working at all times.
Because of OPTISPEED, the wire guidance system can now achieve speed profiles normally associated with mechanical guide rails.
This completely new technology, developed to the EN standard, enables fast, safe and tolerant on-track characteristics. However narrow and winding the aisles might be, the MX-X moves with the greatest functional and fail-safe reliability - again thanks to two processors.
The CAN bus technology also ensures safety and productivity. Because of central control, monitoring and diagnosis, the MX-X can devote itself more intensively to the work and requires very little maintenance time.
